Overview
Agreement
By signing in to or using pragmys.com, the Compass tools or Radar (together, "Pragmys"), you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Pragmys. We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
What Pragmys does
Pragmys turns evidence of what you have built into a verified skill profile, and gives you tools to reach employers in a more personal way: Compass scores postings against your skills, and Radar helps you discover open roles ranked for you. Pragmys does not apply to jobs for you, speak for you to employers, or promise an interview, offer or response.
Data and rights
Your repositories and AI usage data
They are yours. Your repositories, source code and AI usage data, in their original form, belong to you (or to whoever owns them). Pragmys claims no ownership of them.
We generate insights, not copies. Pragmys only derives insights from that material, such as skills, patterns and scores, and maps those insights to your profile. The insights are what we keep.
Removed on every scan. The original repository content and AI usage data are removed automatically on each scan, as soon as the analysis is done. Pragmys does not keep a copy of your source code or conversations. Details are in the
Privacy Policy.
Only what you may share. You confirm that you have the right to let Pragmys analyse what you connect. Do not connect material you are not allowed to analyse, for example under an employer's confidentiality terms.
Radar and Compass data
Employers own their postings. Job postings, company names, logos and related content shown through Radar and Compass belong to the respective companies and their owners. Pragmys provides a tool that helps candidates reach those companies in a more personalised way. It does not claim their content.
Where Radar's data comes from. Radar takes its data from open applicant-tracking-system (ATS) career boards that companies publish publicly. It shows a short excerpt and links to the employer's own page.
May be out of date. A role may be closed, changed or filled before our next scan, and a stated salary may be wrong. Check the employer's page before you rely on a posting.
Matches are estimates. A fit score compares your verified skills with the skills a posting appears to ask for. It is guidance, not a hiring prediction.
Pragmys intellectual property
The domains and skills taxonomy and data, the scoring, matching and ranking algorithms, the system and engineering design, the software, and the Pragmys name and branding were conceived and built by Pragmys and belong solely to Pragmys. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use Pragmys as it is offered to you. You get no other right to them.
No commercial use. You may not use, copy, reproduce, reverse-engineer, re-implement, train on, resell or build a product or service from any part of Pragmys' data, algorithms or design for commercial purposes. This applies to material you obtained from Pragmys directly, and equally to anything that reaches you through an unintended leak, disclosure or breach of Pragmys' systems. Obtaining something by accident does not give you any right to use it.
If you come across leaked material, do not use or share it. Tell us at
hello@pragmys.com.
Usage data and recommendations
Radar usage data. To make Radar work well, we record how Radar is used: results shown, opens, saves, apply clicks, filters and searches. This usage data is kept apart from your personal details: it holds no name, email or profile information, only an internal account identifier.
Personalisation stays on our servers. Personalised recommendations are computed on Pragmys' servers. We use them only to personalise your choices, not for any commercial benefit, and we do not sell them or share them with employers or advertisers.
More detail on what is collected and how long it is kept is in the Privacy Policy.
Rules
No scraping or automation
Pragmys, including this website, its APIs, Radar's listings and rankings, and the skills and domain data, may be used only by a person, through the interface we provide, for their own job search or profile. The following are strictly prohibited, with no exception unless we agree in writing first:
Scraping and crawling. Collecting data from Pragmys by any automated means: crawlers, spiders, bots, scripts, headless browsers, scrapers, or AI agents and tools acting on a site-wide or bulk basis. This includes collecting listings, rankings, skills, taxonomy, domain or market data, profiles or page content.
Bulk extraction. Systematic or repeated copying, mirroring, caching, indexing, exporting or republishing of any part of Pragmys, by hand or by tool.
Training and datasets. Using Pragmys content to build, train, fine-tune or evaluate a model, dataset, index, database or competing product.
Evading our limits. Circumventing rate limits, access controls, session checks or other protections; using multiple accounts, rotating addresses, proxies or fake identities to do so; sharing or selling access.
Probing and interference. Scanning, testing or attacking our systems, overloading them, or interfering with other users' access. Good-faith security reports are welcome at
hello@pragmys.com; please do not access data that is not yours while testing.
Automation of your account. Running automated tools against your signed-in session. The only automated access we offer is the Compass agent connection you set up from your profile, within its own limits.
Our robots.txt lists what crawlers must stay out of. Honouring it is the minimum, not a permission: pages that are open to read are not open to collect.
Enforcement
Pragmys may, at its sole discretion and without notice, block addresses, rate-limit, throttle, suspend or close accounts, and remove access to any part of Pragmys when we see or suspect a breach of these terms. Pragmys reserves the right to ask anyone who has collected or used its data or content in breach of these terms to delete it and stop, to issue takedown notices to anyone who hosts or republishes it, and to bring legal proceedings and seek remedies where applicable, including for use that comes from an unintended leak. Rights in these terms are in addition to any others the law gives us.
Requests
Takedowns and discrepancies
If you are a company, or act for one, and want a posting or your company's information removed from Radar or Compass, or you see something wrong, email hello@pragmys.com with the company name and the address of the board or posting. We will take the specific item down within one week. The same address handles reports about anything else on Pragmys that you believe is inaccurate or should not be there.
Disclaimer
Pragmys is provided as it is and as it is available. We do not guarantee that postings, salaries, matches or recommendations are accurate, complete or current, or that using Pragmys will lead to an interview, offer or any other result. To the extent the law allows, Pragmys is not liable for losses that arise from your use of it, or from decisions you or employers make using it. Pragmys is an independent software entity and is not associated with, or a subsidiary of, any other corporation.
